There Is No Such Thing As A "Death Tax"
The so called "death tax" is a clever term invented by the GOP (after much polling) to find out what term the average American finds most distasteful. It's a ruse, as usual, to trick Americans into supporting policies that are not in their own or the countries best interest. The real name of what the GOP cynically refers to as the "death tax" is The Estate Tax. With all of the problems that we face today, the Republicans in Congress have made the repeal of the estate tax their highest priority. Once again, they are doing their darndest to reward their rich friends by asking the rest of America to bend over and smile. The sick part is that they have bamboozled so many of us that a lot of people are going to be very politely asking to be screwed - "pretty please, mr. politician, I like it when you're mean to me". It's like we're all collectively suffering from "battered wife syndrome".
In my never ending quest to edumacate the world I am linking to this website so that you can learn the truth about the estate tax.
