Ultrasound September 6, 2005

Emily and I were just at the hospital and we got good news. The ultrasound showed an embryo. We got to see and even listen to the heart beat - the woman who did the procedure said it sounded very strong and regular, she said that everything looked good! She even showed us where the spinal cord was. So, we've passed our first hurdle - we were both pretty nervous but we're feeling more confident and optimistic now. We have a long way to go and many more tests but we're both very happy. Emily's due date is April, 19th 2006!

In the picture - we were told that the yolk sack is on the right and that little bean shaped thing on the left is the embryo.
