Here's a Senate candidate for you folks in Ohio

He's running for U.S. Senate. He seems like a very common sense, level headed guy. Plus, he's a Marine who served in Iraq. Check out his website and see where he stands on the various issues. Here's a nice little article from the Columbus Dispatch that gives an idea of what kind of person he is.

I'd vote for him. Finally sounds like someone with some sense. That pretty much means he's guaranteed not to make it in politics though.

Actually, he came very close to an upset victory in a congressional special election not too long ago in one of the most conservative districts in the country.

He has an excellent chance of becoming Ohio's next U.S. Senator. Vote for him in the Democratic primary and then vote for him next November and he could very well be your very own Senator.

I'm not naive enough to think that government will ever be perfect and without corruption but I'm not cynical enough to think that by electing good, honest people who's priorities are in the right place that we can't make the country we live in a much better place. People like this in the House and the Senate are a big step in the right direction.
